Electric Hook-up Users Guide:
1. Ensure all electrical equipment is
completely clean and dry before use. Special attention should be paid to plug
and socket terminals. Do not attempt to clean live site sockets yourself.
2. Disconnect all personal appliances
and insert plug into designated hook up.
3. Test the safety trip of your
equipment. If it fails to set and test, go to 6.
4. Plug each of your personal appliances
in one at a time and test for correct operation. If it fails or causes a trip
to operate, go to 6.
5. The maximum continuous hookup current
rating at Polglaze is 6 amp, calculate your power consumption carefully to stay
within this limit and avoid nuisance tripping.
6. The hook-up points at Polglaze are independently inspected, tested and certified annually before the summer camping season. If you are experiencing difficulty with your hook up point it is most unlikely to be a fixed site equipment failure. Please disconnect and check each of your appliances carefully before attempting re-connection.
